DISCOVER HOCKEY
Discover Hockey is a 12 week introduction to ice hockey program offered in Edmonton, Calgary, and Richmond. You do not need any prior ice skating experience to take it.
The first session starts with the basics of ice skating and the rest of the sessions progressively teach you how to become a hockey player. The last four sessions of the program are real hockey games with your new teammates.
At the end of the program your new ice hockey team will continue playing in the lowest division of the NCHL against other teams that completed the Discover Hockey program previously.
Hockey is our game and it is for everyone! If you can walk you can play. Thousands of men, and women have taken the program since 2008. You must be 18 to take it, but we’ve had people as young as 70 in the program. Now it is your turn.
